I told you all that I thought Doc Smith asked for a second opinion for Grandfather's illness. The doctor was impatient because he had been waiting for Little Willy.
ReplyDeleteI think the man is at the house because he might have news for Willy. The news might be about Willy's grandfather. Maby Doc Smith found out that the granfather is sick and the man is there to tell the news.
ReplyDeleteI think the man on the porch is a city slicker. Little Willy is asking him for money, so he can save the farm. This reminded me of when Little Willy asked for money in the beginning of the book.
